Why not try it? Breathing out for a count of four. Holding for a count of four. Breathing in for a count of four. Holding for a count of four. Repeat. And the best thing is it is free and can be practiced anywhere. In the car, on the bus, in the queue in the supermarket, when you first wake up or just before you go to sleep.
