It is only that inner part of us... the worry part that makes us think other people care whether we are intelligent, beautiful or wise.
Actually they only care that we care... if that projection of worry from within us, is allowed to expand, it can have an impact on our relationships. We must see the true nature of ourselves and what is true in others. There is a saying... "The truth will set you free..."
and because the truth is out there, already existing we can interact with it. People will accept the truth far easier than an untruth.
